Covid-19 Protocol

After careful consideration we have decided to open the berry patch for PYO and already picked berries. We recognize the need for additional safety measures in order to keep you our customer, our staff, ourselves and our community safe.

Additional Safety Precautions

  • There will be hand sanitizer at the booths for customers and staff to use
  • We recommend that you wear a mask when coming to the stand 
  • Please practice social distancing when coming to the stand (6 ft apart)
  • If you have any symptoms of covid-19 (Fever, cough, shortness of break), have travelled outside the country or have had contact with someone who has tested positive for covid-19 please refrain from coming to the farm. Contact us instead and we can accommodate for contactless pickup or delivery within Stratford. 
  • Plexiglass barriers have been installed at the berry stands
  • We are not able to accept used containers for reuse
  • Unfortunately we will not have public washroom available as recommended by the health unit
  • We will be checking our pickers & staff temperatures on a regular basis

Pick your own – 2020 Procedures:

  1. We ask that you do not bring non standard size berry containers (kitchen bowls, Tupperware containers bucket ). You are able to bring standard size strawberry baskets or quarts, ones which may have purchased from us or the grocery store. The cashiers must be able to easily identify your containers weight to avoid unnecessary handling when weighing in and out.  If you don’t have suitable containers, we will have them available at the PYO berry booth. 
  2. We will place PYO customers in every second row to ensure proper social distancing
  3. We ask that you bring your own masks, or there will be masks provided at our cost, 
  4. Unfortunately, there will be no golf cart rides provided 
  5. No more than 4 people per family will be allowed into the berry patch
